Sustainable Livestock

DAP develops the production of cattle in one of its rooms "La Finca Ybycai", located in the San Estanislao district of the Department of San Pedro.

Livestock and production activity is based on fattening cattle, steers and heifers of hybrid breeds between Nelore, Brangus and others adapted to the eastern region of the country.

The one fed entirely on grasslands such as the Brizantha Marandu species, special for the climate and the local environment coupled with a supplementation of bales of grass, corn and salt.

As part of the sustainable business approach, DAP has all the livestock registered in the Regional Office Computer System (SIGOR) of the National Animal Quality and Health Service (SENACSA) that allows the company to perform competitively in the bovine market global, with the potential to extend to markets that require a traceability system from origin to delivery to the potential client and / or distributor.

Likewise, DAP develops a model of Good Livestock Practices (BPG) in which all the actions involved in the primary link of cattle raising, aimed at ensuring the good management of livestock, animal health and welfare, environmental protection environment and of the people who work in the production.
